Kind Sight

OVERVIEW

KindSight is a designer-focused organization built from scratch to address a genuine gap in design education; the lack of accessible resources on colour vision deficiency. Created to educate graphic designers on how to design inclusively for the estimated 300 million people worldwide living with CVD.

YEAR

2025

ROLE

Solo Designer & Founder

SERVICES

Accessibility Design, Visual Identity, Publication Design, Motion Graphics

About the project

KindSight was conceptualized and built as part of an Enhancing Health Literacy By & Through Design project at Emily Carr University. The project spans a complete visual identity system, a six-poster educational series, a website, and a motion graphic; all built around six core accessibility methods: Labels, Shapes, Contrast, Patterns, Icons & Symbols, and Varying Sizes.

The design system was intentionally constructed using only black, grey, and white; modeling accessible design principles from the inside out. Every decision, from typeface selection to iconography, was made with accessibility as the foundation, not an afterthought.
